We ask for your name, phone, email and address to deliver your order.
Payments are handled by PayU. We never see your card or UPI details.
We share your details only with the rider delivering your food and the services we need to run the website.
No advertising trackers. No selling or renting your data. Ask us any time to see, correct or delete it.

Who we are

This policy explains how Little Bites handles personal information collected through this website. We are responsible for your information under the Information Technology Act, 2000, its rules, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 as it comes into force.

What we collect

Order details you give us: name, mobile number, email address, delivery address, landmark, pincode and any delivery or cooking notes.
Order history: what you ordered, when, the amount and the order status.
Payment information: our payment partner tells us whether a payment succeeded, the transaction reference and the payment method type (for example “UPI” or “card”). We do not receive or store card numbers, CVVs, UPI PINs or bank passwords.
Messages: anything you send through our contact or party-order forms, or by email, phone and WhatsApp.
Technical information: IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, recorded for security and to prevent fraud.

How we use it

To prepare and deliver your order, and to contact you about it.
To send order confirmations and payment receipts.
To answer your questions, handle complaints and process refunds.
To prevent fraud, fake orders and misuse of the website.
To keep the business, tax and accounting records the law requires.
To understand, in total, which dishes and areas are popular so we can improve.

We will only send you offers or marketing messages if you have agreed to receive them, and you can opt out at any time.

Cookies and storage on your device

We use one essential cookie to keep the website secure while you use it (for example, to protect forms). Your bag, and your saved details if you tick “Remember my details”, are stored only in your own browser, not on our servers, until you order. You can clear them any time from your browser settings. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep order and payment records for as long as tax and accounting laws require (typically up to 8 years). Messages sent through our forms are kept for up to 2 years. Technical logs are kept for up to 90 days. After that, information is deleted or anonymised.

Keeping it safe

The website uses HTTPS encryption. Access to order information is limited to our staff who need it and protected by passwords. Payment gateway credentials are stored encrypted. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information and will inform you and the authorities if a breach affects you, as the law requires.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it where we no longer need it for legal reasons. You can withdraw your consent to marketing at any time. Write to our grievance officer (below) and we will respond within 30 days.

Children

This website is not directed at children. If you are under 18, please use it with the permission and supervision of a parent or guardian.
